TULSA, Okla. – ESPN reports that the Thunder of Oklahoma City markets Russell Westbrook to the Houston Rockets.
The Westbrook Deal will include Chris Paul, two future picks and selections, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.

Oklahoma City General Manager Sam Presti worked with Westbrook and his agent, Thad Foucher, to get the old MVP to his favorite destination: a meeting with James Harden, sources said.

Houston hoped to find a third-team destination better than Chris Paul, but eventually left OKC to execute the next step once Presti reportedly entrusted his agent Leon Rose to CP3. Miami remains a possibility for Paul (3 years, $ 124 million) – and OKC obviously has choices to entice buyers, if necessary.

Westbrook was in Tulsa when ESPN announced the trade. He hosted a comedy show at the Cain Room & Ballroom Downtown. FOX23 Sports Director Nathan Thompson watched this video from Westbrook. He did not mention the report:
The Seattle SuperSonics recruited Westbrook in 2008 and played his first season in Oklahoma when the franchise was transferred to OKC later that year.
Since then, he has been named eight-time NBA star and NBA's most valuable player in 2017.
In addition to several other honors in the league, Westbrook broke records with the Thunder setting the record for most triple-doubles recorded in a single season.
