Some “teams” inquired about Russell wilson, according to Ian Rapoport and Tom Pelissero of NFL.com. However, the Seahawks have dismissed these suitors as they have no interest in trading their franchise quarterback.

It’s no surprise the Seahawks have turned down calls for the future Hall of Famer. The quarters carousel caused Matthew stafford and Jared goff to swap places, and more could be on the move in the coming weeks, but Wilson is staying put. There might be other options for ambitious teams looking for the Seattle star, including Eagles QB Carson Wentz and Raiders report the caller Derek carr.
Clubs have issued feelers on Wilson in the past, but those talks haven’t gone too far. One of those conversations took place in 2018, when the Browns considered trading either No.1 or No.4 pick for him. Wilson was only 29 at the time, but he had long been one of the best QBs in the game. To even consider moving him, the Seahawks would have wanted an offer that included both choice.
Wilson, 33 in November, established a new personal watermark with 40 passing touchdowns last year en route to another Pro Bowl selection. He also recorded 4,212 passing yards in 2020 – seven short of a new career high.
