Russo Brothers Tricked Cast Avengers on what the final scene was

Spoilers coming for Avengers: End of the game! One of the last scenes of Avengers: End of the game was so secret that the filmmakers chose to deliberately mislead the actors and the crew involved in the filming. The scene in question – the funeral of Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) at the lake – has always been described as a wedding.

With most stars of the Marvel film universe on one shot, it took a huge preparation, made even more difficult by the fact that it was the most "spoilerly" scene of the film. Talk with EW Radio, the Russo brothers revealed how they were able to place dozens of stars without the actual content of the scene escaping.

"It was an interesting day because bringing all these actors together on one level is very festive and joyous, but it was for a difficult reason in this scene," said Anthony Russo. "And also, the point of the story in the scene was one of the biggest secrets of the movie, so we had to be very, very quiet about it."

It was at that time that Joe Russo stated that the team had called the scene "The Wedding" on the film's appeal sheet for the duration of the film. "No one has ever used the funeral word," exclaimed Anthony. "It was always a wedding."

Joe is sure to point out that the main reason this information was kept from cast members is to help them protect them during press tours and interviews in order to promote the film.

"90% of these actors came in and they had no idea what they were doing," Joe said. "They thought they were there for the wedding, so we had to tell them," This is what happens in history … ", because again, we're just trying to protect the information. Have no information easier for them not to spill the beans accidentally. "

Avengers: End of the game is now in theaters while Spider-Man: far from home arrives on July 2nd.
