Opera singer Ryan Gallagher was a fan favorite during the Season 19 Live Playoffs of The voice. The 31-year-old was rescued by coach Kelly Clarkson during The Battles and was one of the artists vying for the US votes in the 4-Way Knockout. Ryan was nowhere to be found on stage, leaving three other artists waiting for the results. But you think Ryan is the real winner.

It was Taryn Papa who was announced as the winner of the 4-Way Knockout live on The voice. Taryn’s shocked response definitely reflected those watching around the house scratching their heads about what had happened to Ryan. While Carson Daly said Ryan dropped out of the competition, it was later revealed by Entertainment Tonight that he violated COVID security protocols and was kicked out.

You seem to think Ryan was the real winner of the 4-Way Knockout. Many of you voted in our fan poll and Ryan overwhelmingly received 58% of the votes. He performed Andrea Bocelli’s “Time to Say Goodbye” in The Knockouts which won praise from coaches and fans online. Julia Cooper received 20% of the votes and Taryn who ultimately won the 4-Way Knockout received 12% of the votes in our poll. Larriah Jackson got 10% of the vote.
Still, the question arises as to whether Taryn actually won the fair and square 4-Way Knockout. Until a few hours before the live playoffs, Ryan normally posted on social media. It wasn’t until the start of the episode that he started posting about how he didn’t quit the show and was kicked out. Carson Daly mentioned that the votes are always totaled and that the winner of the 4-Way Knockout was the person with the most votes. It wouldn’t be such a far-fetched idea if Ryan actually got the most votes, but after being kicked out, the victory went to whoever got the most votes. It remains to be seen.
Fans on Twitter also believe Ryan was the real winner of the battle.
After Carson announced the results, people took to the internet and social media to voice their frustrations. “I guess Ryan Gallagher won. Hope all is well with him and his mom, ”one fan wrote on Twitter. Ryan had previously revealed that his mother had COVID but was doing much better.
“WHAT HAPPENED ON EARTH TO RYAN GALLAGHER ???????? I LOVE IT! HE WOULD HAVE WON HANDS DOWN! He sang so incredibly beautiful that he made me cry! PLEASE CALL IT BACK! I BEG YOU! I need Ryan !! One person tweeted at Blake Shelton. We all basically feel the same, we just need Ryan on our TV screens.
