Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively are one of the nicest and most generous couples in Hollywood.

And on Thanksgiving, the two are once again channeling their generous spirits to help those in need.

According to a press release, per People, Reynolds and Lively donated $ 250,000 to Covenant House Vancouver and Covenant House Toronto.

The nonprofit has been backed by the Deadpool actor for some time. It provides basic needs like food and shelter to homeless youth, which eventually helps them get back on their feet.

In the PR, Reynolds said, “Covenant House brings love, hope and stability to at-risk youth who have fled physical, emotional and sexual abuse. They do hero work.”

“For us, helping Covenant House in this way is not a gift, but an investment in compassion and empathy; something the world needs more. The young people who walk through the doors of Covenant House most often have a story marked by extraordinary trauma. They are much more than this trauma. They have so much to offer to the world, “he continued.

“Associating this gift is to say that you believe in it. You believe in the power of compassion to transform the trajectory of a human being,” he added.
