Ryan Reynolds argues with ‘bubbling demon’ Betty White in the Proposal behind-the-scenes clip

Ryan Reynolds has had a playful feud with Hugh Jackman over the years.

But the Golden Globe nominee looks set to make an even worse enemy of another Hollywood icon.

He rivaled “ bubbling demon ” Betty White in a hilarious behind-the-scenes clip from their 2009 film The Proposal, which he posted on his Instagram Story on Sunday, wishing the comedy legend a happy 99th birthday.

The 44-year-old wrote: ‘We did it 12 years ago. Betty turns 99 today. But she is [100 emoji] the funniest person on the planet.

He appears with his co-star Sandra Bullock, 56, at the start of the clip, as they film a behind-the-scenes segment, interrupted by White.

“What is Betty doing here?” She has a problem with me, ”he said to Bullock, who asked,“ What’s your problem with Betty? She’s like the nicest person on the planet.

Bullock then returns to the set, as White joins Reynolds, whose name she seems to have forgotten, before saying, “Give me a cup of coffee.”

“We’ve been working together for weeks, months actually,” he tells her, to which she responds, “And you’ve been a terrible helper all this time.

Reynolds tries to refresh her memory, but she interrupts: ‘When Betty White says she wants a cup of coffee, you give her a cup of coffee! You jacka crunching **.

It hits its boiling point, as he slams, “ You seem like a lovely sweet old lady on the outside, but on the inside you’re like this bubbling demon. You hear me? Why don’t you suck a hot pussy? It’s true everyone, I told Betty White to get fucked!

Bullock returns, coming to White’s rescue, who runs to the Miss Congeniality star, while quietly giving Reynolds a finger.

White played Reynolds’ grandmother in the 2009 romantic comedy about a top book publisher (Bullock) who decides to marry his assistant (Reynolds) so that she doesn’t get deported to Canada.

The birthday girl took to Instagram with another flashback, as she celebrated the milestone with the re-release of her 1971 animal-friendly talk show The Pet Set.

She wrote: “Would you believe it ?! It’s my 99th birthday, which means I can stay awake as late as I want without asking. I am also very happy to announce the reissue of my series lost for fifty years! I am so proud of the “Pet Set”. Hope everyone is doing well and staying safe. We will do it. ‘

White fed a baby elephant with fellow comedian Carol Burnett, 87, in a segment, before the late Burt Reynolds introduced her to his dog.
