S.F. Giants CEO Larry Baer

Physical alteration with the wife

EXCLUSIVE

1:40 pm PT – Baer spoke with the San Francisco Chronicle about the incident … saying, "My wife and I had an unhappy public dispute related to a family member and she had an injured foot and she fell from her chair during the discussion."

"The case is settled, it was an argument over a mobile phone, it's obviously embarrassing."

San Francisco Giants CEO Larry Baer was involved in a physical altercation with his wife in a public park on Friday … with his wife screaming as he threw her to the ground – and all this was filmed.

Several people saw Baer and his wife, Pam, during a lively verbal argument Friday noon in a park in San Fran. At one point, Larry was trying to get a cell phone out of Pam's hands, which she clearly did not want to give up.

During the fight, Larry knocks Pam out of his chair and falls to the ground. You hear him shout, "Oh my god, help!"

You can see Baer get away from the altercation with the phone in hand while saying to his wife, "Stop." Pam, stop. "

Pam continues to say, "Oh my god, oh my god."

Between the video clips, the person who filmed the film tells us that he was involved and helped to end the altercation. Another witness corroborated that.

Witnesses told us that the police were not called to the scene. Do not know if they were contacted after the altercation. We reach out.

We spoke on the phone with Pam who told us: "We were arguing about a member of my family and that's all."

We also solicited comments from Baer camp. Until now, no word in return.

Baer has been involved in the organization of the Giants for decades. He was appointed Chief Operating Officer in May 1996, Chairman of the team in October 2008 and Chief Executive Officer on January 1, 2012.

According to the Giants website, Baer and Pam co-chaired the San Francisco General Hospital Foundation Campaign Committee for the new hospital opened in 2016 as Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital and Trauma Center.

The couple has 4 children together.

History in development …
