Sunrise, FL (WGR 550) – Kyle Okposo was in New Jersey and skated Sunday morning, but something was wrong and he was sent home. Okposo left the match on Friday after a fight with Tony DeAngelo. Phil Housley said, "Kyle is back in Buffalo to be evaluated further. Housley said he had no other information.
Okposo being away, the Sabers only have 12 healthy attackers, so I would not be surprised if there was a call from Rochester.
Marco Scandella will not be back anytime soon because Housley said, "He went from week to week with an upper body injury." Scandella goes to the casualty reserve, allowing the team to activate Casey Nelson.
Zach Bogosian and Rasmus Ristolainen did not train on Monday. Housley did not feel like he was available Tuesday against Florida. "These are just maintenance days and we'll know more tomorrow."
Nelson joined the team in Sunrise for the practice. He played five games during his rehab assignment in Rochester. He said, "I felt good, I think everyone was a little different, but the last two against Syracuse were pretty fast"

Nelson said that he really did not think his injury would last two months, but he's just happy to be able to play now.
