The classic PlayStation RPG from 1998, SaGa border, is being remastered for the PS4, Switch, PC via Steam and smartphones in the summer of 2021.

This time around, the RPG will feature a team of eight characters with Fuse added as a new playable character. The original SaGa border featured the seven main characters of Asellus, Blue, Emelia, Lute, Red, Riki and T260G. All eight characters have different purposes and endings, including Fuse. Additionally, the original version featured several events that were never implemented in the story of Asselus. The remaster will finally bring the events to life, so fans can enjoy the story of Asselus more.
The remaster also improves the graphics quality. Starting with the characters and monsters, the backgrounds have also been improved at higher resolutions. The menu screen has also been redesigned to make it easier to read. As we’ve seen in other Square Enix remastered titles, the game will add several useful features, including double speed and other ways to make your gaming experience easier.
SaGa Frontier remastered will be released digitally for PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, PC via Steam, iOS and Android in the summer of 2021. The game was first released for PlayStation in Japan in July 1997.
