“Drew Brees – tonight will be his last game at the Superdome,” Glazer said on the FOX pre-game show. “And every time his last game is – if they lose tonight, if they lose next week – it will be the last game he plays in the NFL.”

Glazer was asked if he just believed Brees was retiring or if it was an actual report. He responded by saying, “No, that’s it. Drew Brees will be finished.”

Brees, who just completed his 20th season in the NFL, finished with 2,942 yards, 24 touchdowns and just six interceptions while completing 70.5% of his passes in 12 regular season games. Brees missed four games after suffering rib injuries and a collapsed lung in Week 10.

Brees signed a broadcast deal with NBC in the spring of last year, and is expected to transition to the role of color analyst or commentator in the near future.
