The New Orleans Saints are unlikely to have quarterback Taysom Hill (knee) and running back Latavius Murray (quadricep) against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in today’s Divisional Round playoff game , according to Ian Rapoport and Jane Slater of NFL Network. The two only practiced on Friday and were listed as questionable.
On the Bucs’ side, Tampa Bay will decide on running back Ronald Jones (quad / finger) when he arrives at the stadium. He took part in Saturday’s visit, which is a sign he has a good shot to play, according to Rapoport. Officially, he’s listed as questionable against New Orleans.
The second-seeded Saints host the fifth-seeded Bucs at 6:40 p.m. ET. The winner advances to face Green Bay in next weekend’s NFC Championship game.
Here are the other injuries and line-up moves we’re watching for Friday:
- Kansas City Chiefs running back Clyde Edwards-Helaire (ankle / hip) has a tough battle to climb to reach today against the Browns, sources told Rapoport. Not practicing Thursday and Friday was a bad sign for Edwards-Helaire, who is officially listed as questionable. Rapoport adds that it looks like rookie RB will have to wait another week unless there is a dramatic improvement.
- Cleveland Browns tight end David Njoku (hamstrings) and tackle Jack Conklin (hamstrings / knee) should be able to play against the Chiefs, Rapoport reports, according to a source. Both are listed as questionable.
