The following Saints Street The game will be officially revealed next week and based on the few details revealed so far, this is a brand new game, not a remake, and is in fact (maybe) a full reboot. from the famous open-world franchise.

Geoff Keighley first teased the new one Saints Street restart via tweet on August 20, hinting that it will be fully revealed during Gamescom Opening Night Live. Shortly after, the official Saints Street The Twitter account started tweeting about the new game. More on the Saints Street website, the site has an image of a brick wall covered in graffiti and the word “Rebooting” is stuck on it next to a white lily flower, aka that symbol you see in all games.

During the last 24 hours or so, the official Saints Street The Twitter account has been busy responding to virtually every fan that responds to them, which is fine I guess, but also seems tiring. Some details were shared via these responses. For a, this is not a reboot or a remastered version of a previously released game. In reality, Saints Street devs Volition currently have no plans make other remasters.

Another little detail that I spotted is that it probably has nothing to do with Agents of chaos, on the basis of a Tweeter where the official account says it will take more than receiving this game to kill Saints Street. For those who don’t know, AdM was an open world action game that focused on super powerful agents in a futuristic city and was set in one of the timelines created at the end of Get out of hell, a fallout Saints Street game where Gat goes to hell to save the boss and takes place after the events of Saints Row IV, where the Earth explodes.

Um, yeah, I understand why this whole series needs a reboot. Things are a bit complicated!

We first heard of a new Saints Street game back in 2019, when it was confirmed that Volition was working on the next title in the series. The last main game released in the franchise was from 2013 Saints Row IV.

For those who are excited about a new Saints Street game, and I’m one of those people, the reveal will take place for Gamescom Opening Night Live August 25 at 11 a.m. PT / 2 p.m. ET.
