The new smartphones of the Galaxy S10 series of South Korean tech giant Samsung will apparently have the portfolio functions for Ethereum (ETH), Bitcoin (BTC) and two other chips. A Samsung official introduced the new features of the phone at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain on February 25.

In its presentation, Samsung unveiled various encryption and blockchain projects featured on the smartphone, including support for Bitcoin, Ethereum, the COSMEE token (COSM), and the Enjin token (ENJ). COSMEE is a decentralized mobile beauty app (DApp) that allows users to earn and use COSM tokens. Enjin is a cryptocurrency wallet that would be installed in the new Galaxy S10.

COSMEE claims to have been selected by Samsung as the first DApp partner supported by its future smartphone, while Enji could be used to send and receive ERC-20 chips and encrypted ERC-1155 game assets.

Various reports have surfaced regarding the integration of block and crypto chains into Samsung's new phones. In December 2018, Samsung dismissed the idea of an integrated encrypted wallet, calling it "rumor and speculation." In January, leaked photos of the new smartphone suggested that the Galaxy S10 would be compatible with an Ethereum portfolio.

Earlier in the day, the Exodus smartphone, developed by consumer electronics giant HTC, announced its partnership with Opera Browser and support for several DApps. The company announced support for the Etheremon and Decentraland DApps, and the smartphone would support a Taiwanese DApp called Numbers.
