Samsung confirms that more of its next smartphones will ship without chargers and headphones

Samsung has made a lot of changes this year regarding its line of smartphones. Most important is the fact that it brought the S Pen to the S series, but another worth noting is the lack of a charger in the retail packaging of its new flagships: Galaxy S21, S21 + and S21 Ultra It looks like these changes will be extended to other Galaxy devices, and we’re not just talking about adding the S Pen to more smartphones and tablets. Apparently, Samsung plans to ship more of its upcoming smartphones without a charger.

In a statement released earlier this week, Samsung’s TM Roh confirmed that its company is working to phase out not only chargers but also headphones from the retail packaging of its smartphones.

On the bright side, South Korean society will launch at least two fast wireless chargers in the coming weeks. While chargers are clearly a necessity for smartphone users, headphones are more of a bonus that companies are adding to make the packaging more appealing. It seems that starting this year, Samsung fans will have to purchase the two separately if they need to.
