With Apple's iMessage, iPhone owners can know when they're chatting with another iPhone owner because the chat bubbles will be blue. If the other person is not on iOS, the bubbles will be green. This can cause problems for some people because they can be excluded from group discussions by iPhone owners because they have a green bubble. Now, Samsung wants to help Android users to respond.
Samsung has launched a Giphy page filled with green bubble response GIF. Spotted by The edge, many GIFs show green talk bubbles destroying blue talk bubbles or turning green, while others try to show strong or rich green bubbles.
The green bubble campaign does not stop there, though. Samsung also sponsors Instagram memory pages and encourages them to share pro-green bubble images and GIFs.
Everything is a little strange. Although it is understandable that some Android users are frustrated or upset by the absence of a group chat simply because of their smartphone choice, some of these GIFs and Instagram posts are rather weird. If you're an Android user and you have iPhone friends, you're extremely proud of being a green bubble. However, you now have many GIF files to help you express yourself.
