Samsung foldable phone? Meet the Galaxy Fold – TechCrunch

Samsung has promised to look much better at its foldable phone at the big S10 event tomorrow. We had already seen the product at the end of last year at the company's developer conference, but among the many uncertainties related to this product, this is what the company will name.

After all, the camera is essentially an entirely new category for Samsung. As a result, old naming conventions may be out of date. The name "Galaxy F" has been announced, but nobody wants it.

Evan Blass (the last to have helped expose the S10 to the world in recent months) said the phone would be the Galaxy Fold. Not bad, I guess. Probably a solution – certainly a step forward compared to the Galaxy F, which, frankly, is a bit too easy to make fun of.

So we have a name – and we should have more information on it tomorrow. And not for a moment, because we expect many foldable handsets to be the subject of a serious staging next week at the Mobile World Congress.
