Samsung finally took a look at the Galaxy Fold, its first foldable smartphone. This flexible device is an entirely new form factor that opens and closes like a book. A screen on the outside allows you to use the Galaxy Fold as a phone and a larger screen inside allows you to use it as a tablet. It costs a lot of dollars, but may well have the "wow factor" to support Samsung's lofty claims. What is it packing? Find the complete list of Samsung Galaxy Fold specifications below:

The outdoor display measures 4.6 inches and has a Quad HD + resolution in the 21: 9 format. It's quite big and narrow. As the fold unfolds, a 7.3-inch QXGA + screen is integrated. It has more of a square shape. More importantly, applications that run on the external screen will seamlessly move to the internal screen and expand to reveal more content. This is called App Continuity, something that Google has added to the Android platform. Samsung is the first device maker to actually put it into practice.
Samsung claims to have designed and tested the hinge, which is based on Samsung's Infinity Flex display, to open and close hundreds of thousands of times.
A mysterious 7-bit, 64-bit octa-core processor powers the Galaxy Fold. Samsung did not say whether the chip comes from its own Exynos line or from Qualcomm's Snapdragon line. The processor is paired with 12GB of memory and 512GB of storage.
This phone has a ridiculous number of cameras: six. A selfie camera at the front, three cameras at the back (ultra-wide, wide, telephoto) and two cameras face the user when the fold is deployed in tablet mode. The cameras are mainly transferred from the expanded Galaxy S10 range.
The Galaxy Fold must be one of the most expensive phones in the world. It costs $ 1,980 for the entry-level 4G LTE version. We do not know how much the 5G version will cost. Look for the Galaxy Fold to reach stores on April 26th.
