Full specs for the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 have surfaced the web, revealing key details about the long-awaited foldable phone. The South Korean tech company is expected to unveil the Galaxy Z Flip 3 as well as the Galaxy Z Fold 3 next week at the Galaxy Unpacked event. The event will be broadcast live at 3 p.m. on August 11 on the company’s official website.

The company’s Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3 phones have already been pre-booked in India. However, before the Galaxy Z Flip 3 foldable device hit store shelves in India and other markets around the world, full specifications were leaked. Now a new leak from Winfuture.de has leaked the full specs for Samsung’s upcoming handset. The leaked spec sheet reveals everything there is to know about the phone ahead of its official launch later this month.

Under the hood, the foldable phone packs a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset. In addition, it will come with 8 GB of RAM and offer 128/256 GB of built-in storage capacity. This shred of information coincides with the phone’s Geekbench listing.

Apart from that, the phone is backed by a 3,300mAh battery with wired and wireless charging support. Details on the exact power of the charger are still scarce. However, it is possible that it is a 25W or a 15W. Additionally, the foldable handset is rated IPX8 for water and dust resistance.

More specifications disclosed

The Galaxy Z Flip 3 houses two screens. It has a 6.7-inch FHD + AMOLED main screen that offers a refresh rate of 120Hz. There is another 1.9-inch outer screen with a resolution of 512 × 260 pixels. The main screen is flexible. You can even fold it along the center. This allows you to open and close the phone. Users can open and close the Galaxy Z Flip 3,200,000 times, which translates to nearly five years of use, according to a report from SamMobile. This is similar to the original Galaxy Z Flip.

The phone will become more durable when folded and unfolded since the hinge has been reinforced. The back panel of the phone features Gorilla Glass Victus for added protection. In terms of connectivity options, the phone has NFC, Bluetooth 5.0, USB Type-C, 4G LTE, and 5G. In the optical department, the Galaxy Z Flip 3 could be equipped with a rear-mounted 12MP wide-angle camera and a 12MP ultra-wide camera. Up front, there will be a 10MP camera for selfies and video calls.
