Samsung solved our biggest complaint about the Galaxy S10 camera!

The Samsung Galaxy S10 are very good phones. They have tons of features and utilities that enrich the everyday lives of a smartphone fan and incredible cameras. However, the choice that Samsung made for the phones has a little confused us and left us disappointed when we examined them.

See, when using Live Focus mode (Samsung Portrait mode version), the Galaxy S10 and Galaxy S10 + use their main wide-angle camera. This is not the best lens to use for portraits and it's disconcerting because the S10 and S10 + models have a telephoto lens on the back. To top it off, Samsung has already used Live Focus with telephoto lenses in the past, starting with Note 8, two years ago.

So it was quite boring, and we, along with many other smartphone users and fans, were slightly annoyed by this strange choice. We made the above comparison for the review and you can clearly see that the 2019 Galaxy S10 + distorts the features of our subject and captures a lot of background, while the 2018 Galaxy Note 9 gives us a much better performance of the model successfully mutate the background.

However, we are happy to say that Samsung has recently solved this "problem" on the Galaxy S10!

It seems to be a silent addition provided with a recent update because we do not really find it in a changelog. However, when we open the camera application for the moment and move on to the live focus, we must choose to use the telephoto or wide angle lens! Now, it was a surprise to be sure … but a welcome!
