The South Korean tech giant Samsung has revealed some of the chain's first chain partners for its next flagship mobile phone, the Galaxy S10.
During the Samsung Mobile Business Summit session at MWC Barcelona 2019 on Monday, the company introduced Blockchain Keystore block of the new phone to affiliates and customers, displaying an image featuring the Cosmee logo, a community beauty service dapp (application Decentralized) of the crypto Cosmochain project, as well as that of the Enjin encryption gaming platform.
As reported by CoinDesk Korea on Tuesday, although Samsung did not reveal specific details of the services offered by the partners, they are likely to be on the phone at the time of launch or shortly thereafter.
Cosmochain reportedly confirmed the relationship with Samsung. Developed to connect beauty industry companies to customers, the project encourages users to create content such as critics with rewards in its EER-20 cosmo coin (COSM) based on Ethereum.
Cosmee users can register their cosmo parts directly into the encrypted wallet of the Galaxy S10, according to CoinDesk Korea.
Howon Song, CEO of Cosmochain, said in the report:
"Since last year, the Samsung Electronics Wireless blockchain team has been looking for marketed dapps. Cosmochain was chosen as a partner of Galaxy S10. We organized dozens of meetings to check the model and the technology. "
Although the Enjin logo was also displayed at the event, its partnership with Samsung has not been confirmed. However, promotional shots tweeted Monday also showed a wallet application on the S10 that seemed identical to the Enjin offer.
Enjin is a cryptocurrency project targeting the gaming industry. It offers a platform for the development of blockchain games, as well as symbolized game products and an ERC-20 token called coin wedge (ENJ). .
According to CoinDesk Korea, a person familiar with S10 technology said Samsung had been talking with Enjin for about six months.
The report adds that being able to store the tokens of both projects in the S10's wallet application will probably facilitate their use.
