The Samsung TV Plus mobile app is now compatible with a wide range of Galaxy devices, including foldable devices. As you may know, SamMobile reported exclusively on Samsung’s plans to bring TV Plus to mobile earlier this year. Our report was confirmed by the company at Galaxy Unpacked in September when the Samsung TV Plus mobile app was released for the Galaxy S10, Galaxy Note 10, Galaxy S20, and Galaxy Note 20 series.

Now, however, the Samsung TV Plus mobile app is supported by the Galaxy S9 series and Galaxy Note 9, Galaxy S20 FE, as well as the company’s foldables, including the original Galaxy Fold, the Galaxy Z Fold 2 and the Galaxy Z Flip. The list goes on.

Samsung TV Plus is now supported by mid-range Galaxy phones

In addition to the flagship models mentioned above, Samsung has also added support for a handful of mid-range phones as well as a rugged device, namely the Galaxy XCover Pro. When it comes to mid-range handsets, the Galaxy A51, Galaxy A51 5G, and Galaxy A71 5G all made the cut.

It’s unclear which devices will support Samsung TV Plus, but perhaps the company should focus on making the platform available for its tablets as well. Many Galaxy tablets have been marketed by Samsung as consumer media machines and with that in mind, the Samsung TV Plus platform would be a great fit. There is no new information on this at the time of writing, so the Galaxy Z Fold 2 is currently the largest mobile device to support Samsung TV Plus.
