Samsung has said nothing official, but according to a Korean website, the company is ready to soon deliver the controversial Galaxy Fold phone at $ 1,980.

Technical critics discovered a flaw in the phone, which folded in half, and screen breaks. According to Yonhap News, Samsung has proposed a solution in a protective plastic layer above the screen.

The diaper was the problem in the first place. Several critics tore off the protector. According to CNET, for this to happen again, Samsung "apparently has extended this layer so that it lies under the cache and that the edge is not visible on the screen to tempt you ".

According to Yonhap, Samsung has solved other problems, such as dust and lint, which got stuck under the hinge of the phone by changing the design, for example by reducing the size of this part.

The Galaxy Fold was originally scheduled to be launched on April 26, but was delayed after the exams. Yonhap sees the phone coming out very soon.

Samsung did not immediately respond to USA TODAY's request for comment on Thursday.

This is not the first time that Samsung uses a pulled phone. In 2017, the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 had a battery that exploded, was removed from the market and never came back.
