The lower prices help a lot too, but $ 800 for the base model is still a lot for most people. The Galaxy S21 and S21 Plus are largely similar 5G phones with high-end specs including gorgeous 6.2in AMOLED displays with refresh rates up to 120Hz, the latest Snapdragon 888, 8 processors GB of RAM and 4000mAh batteries that delivered 15 hours on one charge in our video summary tests. You also get a versatile quad-camera setup with a 64-megapixel telephoto lens, 12-megapixel main camera, and 12-megapixel ultra-wide sensor. If you prefer large screens, the S21 Plus has a 6.7-inch screen, compared to the 6.2-inch screen on the S21.
The Galaxy S21 Ultra, on the other hand, is Samsung’s top-of-the-line 5G smartphone that we called “capable but expensive”. It comes with a 6.8 inch 1440 x 3200 2X AMOLED display, 108 megapixel main camera, 12 megapixel ultra-wide sensor, 10 megapixel f / 2.4 telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom and a 10 megapixel f / 4.9 camera with 10x optical zoom and laser autofocus. The models have few drawbacks, although the S21 has a lower resolution than the S20 and can provide lower quality enlarged photos. The main problem with the Galaxy S21 Ultra is the lack of expandable storage and the price of $ 1,200. However, it’s much more palatable at $ 1000 if you’re looking for the ultimate Android smartphone experience.
