Captain Marvel actor Samuel L. Jackson likened President Trump this week to a "plantation" owner by responding to comments that Trump had done more to help African Americans than previous presidents.
"[Trump] says he has done more for African Americans than any other president, "a TMZ reporter told Jackson on his way to Los Angeles International Airport.
Jackson's answer: "Yes, because he's got a bigger plantation."

The actor of "Pulp Fiction", 70, has clearly expressed his disgust for the president.
In January, Jackson approved the use of an explicit comment against President Trump by Democratic Youth Representative Rashida Tlaib on Twitter, claiming he was a "friend" and "an aphtha" .
"I just want to unreservedly endorse your use and clarity of your intent when you declare your mother —— goal last week," Jackson write online at the time. "Call this Muthaf —– a Motherf —– is not a problem, call this Muthaf —– the president is !!!"
Jackson did not respond when TMZ asked him if he thought that director Spike Lee, who had criticized Trump during his Oscar-winning speech last weekend, had acted disrespectfully when turning back to "Green Book" which won the Best Film Award at the ceremony.

Jackson's "plantation" was announced almost a week before the release of Marvel's movie "Captain Marvel". A few hours before the comment, the movie aggregation website, Rotten Tomatoes, has removed the category "Want to see" percent, the Washington Times reported.
The other star of the movie, Brie Larson, also made controversial comments before its release.
In a recent interview with InStyle, the actress joked that "the patriarchy" had arrived to "ring … my parade" by reacting to the sound of the doorbell. In June, Larson said she did not "need a 40-year-old white man" to tell him what "did not work for him" in a film, according to IndieWire.

Longtime fans of Marvel have been shocked by the comments posted online about avoiding the movie.
"That's it: I'm watching Shazam!" Writes a user, according to the Washington Times. "It looks like it's going to be funnier and I can take my daughter there too!"
