San Francisco may have exorbitant prices in all areas, from real estate to toast to lawyer, but at least the city of Northern California also seems to have high salaries.

In fact, San Francisco has the highest salaries in the world, with residents earning an average of $ 6,526 a month, according to Deutsche Bank's "Global Price Mapping Report 2019". The city also has the highest disposable income (after rent) at $ 4,710 per month.


While the tech sector is expanding in the Bay Area, City by the Bay has climbed from "7 to 21 amazing places for both of these measures over the last five years," the report says.
