San Francisco police make arrest in connection with fatal shooting related to net

SAN FRANCISCO (BCN)

San Francisco police arrested a suspect in a Saturday afternoon shootout near the intersection of Golden Gate Avenue and Hyde Street in the city's Tenderloin, police officers said on social media.

The shooting was reported around 15 hours. The officers recovered a firearm that they believe was used during the shooting.

No further information about the victim or the circumstances of the shooting was immediately available.

The homicide investigators had resumed the case late Saturday afternoon. Anyone who witnessed the shooting, or who otherwise would have information about it, is asked to call the SFPD's anonymous hotline at (415) 575-4444
