Sarah Sanders to publish a book before the 2020 elections

The book, which is expected to be released ahead of the 2020 election, is also speculating on Sanders' political future as a potential candidate for the governorship of Arkansas.

"From Arkansas to the White House, I am delighted to tell my story about the challenges of being a workplace mother at the highest level of American politics and about my role in the Historic battle raging between the Trump administration and its detractors – the future of our country, "said Sanders in a statement issued by New York-based publisher St. Martin's Press.

Sanders has signed with Fox News to contribute to the month of August and will debut Sept. 6 on "Fox & Friends".

She worked on the Trump campaign and then on the White House, where she spent about two years as a press attaché. In this capacity, she supervised the end of the daily press briefing and maintained sometimes tense relations with the press.

Sanders' father, Mike Huckabee, was governor of Arkansas for eleven years. Huckabee is also a contributor to Fox News and has already hosted a weekend show on the network.

Trump vocally supported a candidacy for Sanders' governorship, although the former press secretary indicated at her departure that she hoped to spend more time with her family.
