DETROIT – It will quickly heat up the rest of the day with scattered showers and thunderstorms. You can expect conditions to become more comfortable on Sunday and warmer the rest of next week. Tropical Storm Barry could also affect the area.

Saturday afternoon will be hot and humid. The highs will be in the upper 80s and you will feel that the 90s will be low. Take plenty of sunscreen to prevent sunburn and other sun damage. Drink plenty of water to stay hydrated and healthy.
