The NBC variety show opened with Britney Spears, played by Chloe Fineman, hosting a show called “Oops … You Did It Again,” which provided people with a platform to apologize for. that they did wrong.

This included senators, governors and former “Star Wars” stars.

“You all know me from my upbeat Instagram videos and the word ‘guardianship’,” said Fineman’s Spears.

The first guest was Senator Ted Cruz of Texas, played by Aidy Bryant, who was dressed as if he had just returned from a tropical vacation, with a giant suitcase. Cruz traveled to Cancún, Mexico on Wednesday, as Texas was in the middle of a severe winter storm.

“Hola, everyone,” said Bryant’s Cruz. “I’m not tanned. I just cried in red over my fellow Texans.”

Fineman’s Spears noted that Texas was going through a difficult time right now and Cruz “literally abandoned him and flew to Cancun.”

“And now I’m in some hot water, what I’m being told is something that no one in Texas has,” said Bryant’s Cruz.

Fineman’s Spears asked if Cruz wanted to apologize.

“I deeply regret my actions over the past two days,” said Bryant’s Cruz. “Mostly, fly United.”

The next guest was New York Governor Andrew Cuomo, played by Pete Davidson.

“Governor, do you know why you are here today?” Fineman’s Spears asked.

“Is it because dining is back in New York ?!” Davidson’s Cuomo said, before taking a hit. “Alright, it’s because of the nursing home stuff.”
The final guest was Gina Carano, who was played by Cecily Strong. Carano was fired from Disney + ‘s hit series “The Mandalorian” after offensive social media posts.

“I didn’t do anything wrong. No one can even explain what I did wrong. Explain it,” Strong’s Carano said.

Spears went on to explain that on social media, Carano compared Nazi Germany to the current political landscape.

“Okay, congratulations. You explained it,” Strong’s Carano said.

Cruz de Bryant then tried to understand the situation.

“Do not associate with me,” Carano de Strong said to Cruz de Byrant. “I am strong and you are a bunch of soup. I am first class and you are a trainer.”

Fineman’s Spears had had enough by then, so she ended the show by saying a little prayer that we must all forgive each other.

“So blessings everyone,” she said. “And live … from New York! It’s Saturday night!”
