MADISON, Wisconsin – Powerball's current jackpot is the eighth highest in history with $ 495 million, a statement said.

The Powerball will be drawn Saturday with the possibility of having the first winner of 2019. The jackpot is up 16% since the previous Saturday's draw and 10% since Wednesday's draw.

This Saturday will be the 23rd draw since the last victory of the jackpot, which stood at $ 294 million and won on December 26 by an individual in New York.

Wisconsin has had 16 jackpot winners since Powerball's inception in 1988. The last Wisconsin jackpot winner was a Milwaukee resident in 2017.

Powerball also has prices ranging from $ 4 million to $ 1 million.
