Micron and Western Digital unveiled the 1TB microSD chipset that will significantly increase the storage capacity of your smartphone, but this chip will not be available at such a low price.

According to Engadget, Western Digital's SanDisk brand is superior to its competitor, with 160 Mbps, much faster than 100 Mbps in microns.

However, the Micron card has a technology capable of writing at just under 95 Mbps, against 90 Mbps for its competitor.

But these chips have record prices: the MicroSD Extreme UHS-I 1GB will be available in April at a price of 450 USD, more than double the price of 512 GB.

Micron has not yet revealed the price of its 1 TB chip, but will put it on sale from the second quarter of 2019.
