Neglect in the state of Philadelphia has resulted in hundreds of viral infections, despite attempts by scientists to eliminate them for many years.
Public health officials said that about 1,500 patients with infectious diseases, such as hepatitis and HIV, had been admitted to dental clinics in the same state, the Daily Mail reported.
The three state of the art clinics in the US used unhealthy methods to treat patients. .
Dr. Stephen Ellis, director of disease control at the Philadelphia Health Administration, said the tools had not been cleaned or disinfected and clinics had been closed in December 2018.
He pointed out that despite doctors' attempts to reopen them now, health inspectors again refused to exercise.
