Foreign Minister Adel Al-Jubeir discussed ways to strengthen cooperation between Saudi Arabia and the People's Republic of China during the chairmanship of the Kingdom delegation at the third session of the Political Committee and foreign affairs held in Beijing. After the meeting, the Foreign Minister and his Chinese counterpart Wang Yi held a bilateral meeting to discuss regional and international developments and various topics of mutual interest. The two sides discussed bilateral relations between the two friendly countries and ways to strengthen them in all areas, in addition to discussing many regional and international issues of common interest.

On the other hand, said Mr. Al-Jubeir during his meeting with the Chinese ambassadors. Saudi Arabia has launched the Vision to expand economic fields, reduce dependence on oil, create an environment conducive to innovation, attract investment and investors and create a transparent and functional environment for government institutions . He stressed that "the vision" aims to create a climate of tolerance and moderation to counter extremism, and open spaces for Saudi women to participate in building the future of their country. On scientific exchanges between the two countries, he said: There are 100 Saudi students studying at universities in China.
