The Hewlett-Packard case, former president of software giant Autonomy, has been sued by Mike Lynch and his partner Sushovan Hussein for more than $ 5 billion.

Hewlett-Packard, known as HP, took over Autonomy in 2011 for $ 10.5 billion, but canceled most of that loss after a year. The agreement was intended to make the company a manufacturer of computers and printers but also software.

Hewlett-Packard accused former CEO Mike Lynch of falsifying his company's financial accounts during the takeover talks. Lynch, nicknamed "Bill Gates Britain", denies the allegation and accuses HP of having mismanaged the company after its acquisition.

The trial is expected to last nine months as Lynch has claimed $ 160 million from the US company.
