The Saudi Ministry of Commerce has clarified that there are two main conditions that must be met by applicants to issue a business registration, namely that the applicant must be at least 18 years old and not be a government employee, according to it. who has been published. by the Saudi press agency “SPA”.

And the official spokesperson of the Ministry of Commerce, Abdul Rahman Al-Hussein, indicated that the stages of issuing the commercial registration which dominated the questions from the public received by the ministry in the month of Muharram 1443 AH, are beginning. by five steps, which consists of entering the link of unified services at the Ministry of Commerce e.mc.gov.sa and clicking on the icon of the commercial register, then filling in the main fields (trade name, type of activity , capital, nationality address).

The steps for issuing the register are completed by issuing the invoice, its electronic payment and printing of the trade register.

The Saudi Ministry of Commerce had announced the issuance of 104,521 trade records since the beginning of this year 2021, according to the newspaper “Al-Iqtisadiah”, official spokesperson for the ministry.

Al-Hussein explained that the number of business registrations issued to institutions, principal and subsidiary, stood at 95,368 registrations, while the number of commercial registrations issued to companies, principal and subsidiaries, reached 9,153 registrations.

He clarified that the commercial activities, which topped the list of activities during the current year, were wholesale and retail trade, repair of motor vehicles and motorcycles, followed by accommodation activities and catering, then the construction sector.
