Cancer is of great concern to many people, especially as they get older, but a new study found that some species even grow among young people, some of whom are linked to obesity.

In a study published in The Lancet, the American Cancer Society analyzed data relating to the diagnosis of the disease in about 20 years of the new millennium, the Health report said.

The study looked at cases of people aged 25 to 84, noting a sudden increase in cancer rates among 25- to 49-year-olds, some of them due to obesity and overweight, and among the 12 cancers associated with obesity in the study, there are 6 types of strong increase in young Americans, these are: colorectal cancer, endometrial cancer, cancer of the gall bladder, kidney cancer, pancreatic cancer and multiple myeloid carcinoma, usually seen in people between the 1960s and 1970s.

In adults, the incidence of cancer has increased due to two non-obesity-related cancers: stomach cancer and leukemia.

The study did not focus on the reasons for the increased incidence of these cancers, but assumed that trends could be influenced by overweight and obesity .

According to the US Centers for Disease Control, between 1999 and 2016, the prevalence of obesity in the United States increased from 13.9% to 18.5% among children and adolescents and from 30% 5% to 39.6% in adults.

This study is very important because research has shown that weight gain or obesity can increase the risk of certain cancers. Scientists confirm that all types of cancer can not be prevented and that preventative care can limit it. Through constant vigilance on weight and health.

The authors encouraged physicians to monitor and inform their patients of the risks of obesity and to emphasize the importance of promoting physical activity and modifying the diet.
