A 9-year-old topped YouTube’s best star list this year, with more than $ 29 million in earnings, according to Forbes.

This is the third consecutive year that the American Ryan Cage has led this ranking.

The third-grader, who lives with his family in Texas, rose to prominence through his videos when he was just four years old.

The content of his videos revolves around what is called unboxing, as he unpacks and rates games, through his channel called Ryan’s World.

Unboxing videos, where a child rates children’s games or activities, has become very popular on YouTube, and her channel has garnered over 12.2 billion views.

His parents, Shion and Luna Kaji, say Ryan’s success is due to his ability to form a special relationship with his viewers.

“I think Ryan’s relationship with his fans is very unique and different from talent on TV,” Cheon told Business Insider earlier this year.

The Kaji family have been able to capitalize on their YouTube success with lucrative licenses, brands and TV offerings. The family now runs a 30-person production company called Sunlight Entertainment, which helps them produce the videos.

According to Forbes, Ryan’s World has licensed more than 5,000 products. The family also produced a bunch of merchandise for Walmart, and Ryan has a series called Ryan’s Mystery Playdate, which airs on Nickelodeon Children’s TV.

And in early December, the little boy launched a virtual world on the popular Roblox video game platform.

Kaji’s business empire is estimated to be worth around $ 500 million, according to the Wall Street Journal.
