Sports Observatory: The technical staff of the first team of Saudi club Al Hilal, led by Romanian Razvan Lucescu, decided the fate of the participation of Salman Al-Faraj to Ahli Jeddah in the AFC Champions League.
Al Hilal will host Ahli Jeddah on Tuesday in the second leg of the AFC Champions League Round of 32 at King Saud University Stadium.
Al-Hilal midfielder, Salman Al-Faraj, returned to participate in the group's training sessions a few days before the match of Al-Ahly.
He recovered from a pelvic injury and was operated on since last season.
For his part, Lucescu decided to prevent Al-Faraj from participating in the match against Al-Ahli and to postpone his return to face Abha at the start of the Saudi professional league.
The French striker led his Al Hilal team to a big 4-2 victory over rival Ahli Jeddah at Jawhara Stadium in the first leg of the 16th round of the AFC Champions League.
