JERUSALEM (Reuters) – Saudi Arabia and Jordan (3-0) played Saturday in the last round of the West Asian Football Championship, a deadly defeat by goalkeeper Al Akhdar.
Al-Akhdar's goalkeeper, Mustapha Malaika, failed to catch an easy ball, he dropped hands and went to Jordanian striker Hamza Al-Dardour.
Saudi Arabia Mohammed Al-Fuhaid was forced to wear the goalkeeper's shirt and stand in net goal to fend off the penalty, in order to exhaust all the changes made by his team, but he remained spectator on the Jordanian Firas Shelbaya balloon, who kissed the net.
