Five people were killed and at least 23 wounded on Thursday night in a scramble at a concert by Algerian rapper Abdel Raouf Darraji, known as "Solking" in Algiers.
Some 20,000 spectators attended the ceremony which took place at the stadium of August 20 in Algiers.
"Unfortunately, we recorded the death of five people, while our civil protection services and our doctors took care of 86 people," said Lieutenant Khaled Ben Khalafallah at All About Algeria. .

The popular singer in Algeria said that he had chosen Thursday, August 22 to present the concert so as not to affect the dates of the popular movement.
The fame of Solkeng reached its peak after the release of the song "The Freedom", which became a song of the popular movement that erupted on February 22nd. .
