Brad Pitt and his adoptive son Maddox might be the reason why actress Angelina Jolie broke up with him, according to a weekly US Weekly report.
He pointed out that the problem had started three years ago, during an altercation between the actor and the son during a family trip on a private plane.
Their relationship has not improved since then, the report added, adding that Maddox was very close to Angelina and had never seen in return that he was in fact Brad's son.
Although the father had wanted to follow treatment sessions to get rid of alcoholism, he was not able to win back his son.
According to sources cited on the website, Pax and Maddox spend most of their time with their friends, do their own business and spend less time with other family members.
Angelina adopted Maddox a few years before announcing her official engagement with the actor in 2006.
