Public Service Responds to Maternity Leave Request

The Public Service responded to a request for information on maternity leave in the new regulations.

The public service has stated the following: The employee deserves to receive his full salary, of a duration of seventy days, divided according to your preferences, starting with a maximum of twenty-eight days before the probable date of delivery.

The service noted that the probable date of delivery is determined by a medical certificate certified by a health authority.

The service confirmed that there were no breastfeeding hours in the ministry regulations, but that there was a maternity leave and a baby leave.
