Google officially launched the new design of the Google Play Store

Google has officially launched the new Google Play Store design for Android users. The new design of the Google Play Store builds on the improved material design language that Google introduced for the first time at last year's Google I / O 2018 Developer Conference.

Over the last few months, Google has slowly but surely introduced the new, improved design language into all of its applications and services. It is now time for the Google Play Store to undergo the same treatment.

The main change in this design is the relocation of the tabs. Previously, these tabs were at the top and were designed when the phones were smaller.

However, these tabs are difficult to access in large phones. The new Material Design proposes to place important tabs at the bottom, like on iOS, so that the main categories of applications are down on the tablets. These categories appear on the left in landscape mode.

The subcategories are always at the top but are not used frequently and are therefore less important.

Apart from that, the application is now completely white, with a few simple colors added to the categories. Although this gives the application a very bright appearance, the uniform white design makes it much better when it is not. it is converted to black using Android Q. Dark mode.

Other changes are more subtle, such as space savings between the elements, the lack of division between elements, the increase in white space and the l 39; use of a new font, giving the application a sleek and modern overall look.
