The Egyptian men's table tennis team won first place and gold medal for the African Games after beating Nigeria in the last match 3-2 at the meeting held in Moulay Hassan Hall to win the Egyptian and men's gold medals.
Egypt won the match in a 3/1 double, singles 3/0, a 3/0 singles defeat, then a 3/2 loss, and then won the last match in singles 3/0 to win the men's title after winning the women's title at the expense of Nigeria.
