According to well-informed sources, the Kingdom's commercial courts have received about 500 bankruptcies in one year.
The sources pointed out that, according to the "economic" report, the Riyadh Commercial Court was in the lead with 73.6% of the total of these cases (368 cases), followed by the Jeddah (75 cases) and Dammam courts. (54 cases).
The courts of Buraidah, Abha and Madinah were equal in number with one bankruptcy case for each court since the beginning of the current Hijri year.
It should be noted that the Superior Council of the Judiciary has approved a set of decisions, including the award of a number of judicial services involved in commercial bankruptcy proceedings and the seizure or removal of their agents.
