Observe repeated signals coming from another galaxy and arriving on Earth

Scientists say that they have found repeated signals sent to Earth from another galaxy, but they still do not know where this is coming from.

According to the British newspaper The Independent, scientists have confirmed that these signals were picked up by the telescope and that it was about eight fast radio blasts.

A rapid radio explosion is an astronomical phenomenon of unknown origin, manifested by a passing radio signal or pulse, lasting only a few milliseconds and generating very high energy.

These rapid radio explosions were discovered in 2007 and since then scientists have observed dozens of similar explosions, but they were distant, making studies difficult.

The eight explosions discovered a few days ago were relatively close to Earth, offering researchers an opportunity to identify their source and their cause of origin and study them in more detail.

The eight explosions could come from a galaxy next to the Milky Way, to which our solar system belongs, and they still need further research to confirm it, according to Asharq Al-Awsat.

The explosions were observed using the Canadian hydrogen-density telescope, a telescope developed by scientists to explore the dark energy and mysterious rapid radio explosions of distant galaxies.
