The dollar fell against the pound in five banks at the end of Sunday trading, compared with the level of morning trading, while the price has stabilized in five other banks, in the early days of monetary commercial banks after the central bank decided last Thursday to cut interest rates by 1.5%.

The price of the dollar in international commercial banks and Construction and housing fell by 3 piastres, to 16.52 pounds on the purchase and 16.62 pounds on the sale.

The dollar price in the banks of the Suez Canal and Credit Agricole Qershin fell to 16.53 pounds on the purchase and 16.63 pounds on the sale.

Al Baraka Bank has reduced the price of the US dollar by one penny, to 16.54 pounds to buy and 16.64 pounds to sell.

The price of the US currency has maintained its level at the National Bank of Egypt and Egypt, at 16.52 pounds at the purchase and 16.62 pounds for sale.

The dollar has settled in African Arab and Alexandria banks at 16.53 pounds at the purchase and 16.63 pounds for sale.

The US currency was settled at 16.56 pounds at the Islamic Bank of Abu Dhabi and 16.65 pounds for sale.

The central bank decided last Thursday to reduce interest rates from 1.5% to 14.25% for deposits and 15.25% for loans.
