A report states that Apple has terminated its contract with the employees it has hired to listen to Siri recordings

Last July, the British Guardian revealed that Apple was recording users' conversations with Siri and sending them to contracted employees for analysis and review to improve Siri's future performance. The company initially defended its decision, claiming that it was analyzing the recordings to improve Siri, and while this sounds logical, the fact that the company had hidden it from its customers was making everyone frowned upon.

After the report, Apple revealed that it had temporarily stopped the software and would revise it entirely. Apparently, Apple seems to have decided to get rid of this program completely. According to a new report from Irish Examiner, Apple appears to have terminated its contracts with outside employees working in Ireland and responsible for analyzing Siri records.

It is still unclear how many workers were affected by the decision, but according to a former employee, they had to sign confidentiality agreements, which means that they could not even tell people that they were working for Apple. It is also unclear whether Apple plans to reactivate the software in the future.

However, Apple had previously stated that it would go forward and would be more transparent with respect to Siri registrations, offering users the option of not participating in the program if they do not wish to participate.
