Egyptian handball star Ali Zein managed to lead the Saudi unit in the semi-finals of the World Club Championship in Saudi Arabia.
The city of Dammam will host the last edition of the tournament until the 31st of this month. Zamalek will play Wednesday at 1:30 pm against German Kiel.
Al Wahda was able to beat the Brazilian Taobate 30-26 to qualify for the semi-finals.
Ali Zain scored 4 goals on Al Wahda's total.
Ali Zain has joined Al Wahda (Saudi Arabia) on loan from Sharjah (United Arab Emirates).
The unit achieved a historic feat for Saudi handball, becoming the first Saudi team to qualify for the Golden Square in the history of the World Club Championships.
Al Wahda is waiting for the winning team from Barcelona and Qatar Al Duhail for the semifinals scheduled for Thursday.
