Google has added new options to its mapping service to make it easier for users to travel by public transport. Among the new options are the addition of two new options to transit routes, namely: bike services and participatory transportation services.

For example, if a user takes the metro at his friend's house but his apartment is a little far from the station, he will have to travel the distance to his home. He can now see the bike options or suburban transportation services available, which saves him trouble. Walk at home.

Google explained how the new feature works by saying "Enter your destination in the search box, then click (Get directions), and then click on the (Transit) tab." From there, you'll automatically see the routes offering participation or cycling options, as well as transit routes. "

The company added that if the user decided to take a car, he would have access to useful information about each stage of the trip, its cost, its duration and the time of departure of the bus or the train. The user can also choose a preferred driving service as a priority.

If the user decides to ride a bike, he will see the best routes for cyclists with all the information they need on the part of the trip. All this information will be automatically calculated for the total duration of the trip and the estimated time of arrival.

The bike and suburban services will be available in the coming weeks on Android and iOS in 30 countries around the world.
